Wedding photographer reception
We are going to see a fabolous back garden wedding london story, where the couple decided to have a small and intimate wedding in their house, keeping all the most important poeple of their life really, really close to them. So, let’s begin.
The getting ready
When I arrived in the bride and groom house, I found the wedding dress alrady hanging on the window. This is the very first thing I saw in the morning. My camera was still in the bag as I was not expecting this, but it was a good surprise indeed.
The bride and groom had already prepared the back garden for the reception, of course, even though there were still many thing to do. On the fance they attached many photos about their love story. On one of which I have put the wedding ring, to take this photo.
As wedding cake they chose a cheescake, but a proper one, a cake made out of cheese. It was an amazing choice! On the right side of the photos some of the drinks they set on the table outside.
Food and drinks
After the getting ready we took some photos of the bride just before leaving the house for the wedding ceremony. In this photo you can see the wedding bouquet with something very special for the bride hanging from it.
On the left side, the mother of the bride looking at her daughter when she was wearing the wedding dress. She was clearly very proud of her. On the right side, the bride in the garden almost done with the getting ready.
The wheather that day was fantastic. We didn’t think about that, but to have this kind of reception in London in quite a gamble!
Here we are already in the evening, during the wedding party. The mood of the reception was really joyful but relaxed as well, which was perfect…
The wedding ceremony
Following some photos of the wedding ceremony at the St. Anne’s Church in Wandsworth.
The wedding bouquet after the ceremony was left in the beer’s bucket to keep it fresh…
Finally, coming back home after the ceremony and the wedding lunch, time to party.
A really nice choice for this wedding reception was the live band. Even tho it was a house garden, there was no issue for the neighbour as the music was not at high volume, just quite and relaxing. Moreover, the couple gave notice to the neighbout about the wedding party, which is really nice.
We actually didn’t see the weddign dress jut hanged from the inside, did we?
This is basically what I saw from the street, but from the inside.
Laughing and relaxing during the getting ready.
Flowers and drinks were decorating the garde in a table on the side.
We were just outside the restaurant when we met this puppy, and of course we couldn’t help to cuddle it.
Finally, the confetti photos!
Some photos of the bride outside the restaurant. There was a lovely park just on the other side of the street.
Back to the garden, finally! As you can see the solution of the reception in the garden suited very well this wedding.
Finally, the detail of the drinks in the garden. With a small table but very well set the bride and groom sorted all they needed for the reception.
The back garden table
Back to ceremony, when the father and the bride entered the curch.
Here we are, husband and wife!
Again, before the wedding lunch we had a little walk in the park in front of the restaurant.
Photographing the garden from the first floor of the house.
This for sure gives you the exact idea of what a back garden wedding in a normal Londo house actually is.
Bride and her bridesmaid in the garden
This photos was unexpectd and luckily I was close, I heard the laughing from the outside and ran to the door, and luckily enough I have been able to take one good shot.
Finally, back home for the wedding party.
