This Wedding Photographer London story about a fabolous wedding in an Old Church Venue.
Let’s begin this wedding story
Here we are, the bridesmaids and the bride almost ready to enter the Church
Definetely one of the best photo a wedding photographer can take, the groom expression when he sees the bride entering the church or the ceremony room.
Wedding photographer London story – The ceremony
Finally, the bride entering the church, ready to tie the knot.
A few photos of the couple at the altar of this lovely church.
And finally, husband and wife!
Not to mention this lovely moment from this privileged point of view. The bride and the groom just right before their first kiss as just declared husband and wife. It is definitely my favourite photo of this wedding story. The moment was a bit slow, so I had the chance to frame the photo as I wanted, and the church in the background helped very much.
Here the ceremony was just ending, with the bride and groom preparing to get out if the church.
Before going to the old church for the wedding reception we spent a few moments in tghe backyard of the ceremony church. The wedding guests had some drinks, the children played and me and the bride and groom took some wedding photos. This one, in particular, was a nice bench surroundend by grass and flowers, a rellay good place for some nice portraits of the newly husband and wife.
Again, some more photos just before leaving.
As I mentioned before, the kids played a lot during this moment of rest and relaxing.
Old Church Venue
Finally, here we are, in the old church ready for the ceremony. They set up the altar with a long table to seat the bride and groom and their parents and close relatives.
Here we can admire the gorgeous set of the old church, with the tables and sweets.
Last but not least, the wedding dancing! I hope you enjoyed it.
This wedding photographer London story is about a lovely wedding in Southampton
Let’s begin with the getting ready
When there is a beautiful weather with a bright sun, the wedding dress looks even nicer.
As mentioned, with this beautiful bright sun I took the photos of the wedding bouquet and shoes in the balcony. Not to mention the lovely view from that balcony.
Wedding photographer London – The ceremony at the Church
Finally, one of the best moment of every wedding, the confetti! At this moment, the bride and groom are just became Husband and Wife. This means, above all, that all the tension has finally vanished, and what is left is only joy and happiness.
After the ceremony we went to the venue, which was the Hilton Hotel in Southampton. All the flowers were on the same warm pastel colour theme. They hired a huge conference room wich was set with many tables and a dancefloor at the center of the room. In that space there was the wedding cake and, on the bride and groom table.
The flower theme of this wedding was a beautiful pastel warm colour, with an autumn hint. The same was for the groom and the best men flowers.
The last part – The bride and groom portraits.
Finally, when we arrived at the hotel, there was some time for some portraits of the bride and groom. Luckily, the Hilton Hotel has a lovely park and small lake, which was great for wedding photos!
The Dartmouth House is a very famous and popular wedding venue. I consider myself a very lucky London wedding photographer, being able to shoot several weddings in this beautiful location.
This wedding story is about one of those days, in the heart of Mayfair, London.
Dartmouth House wedding story – The getting ready
First of all, let’s meet the bride. She got ready at the Chesterfield Mayfair, the next-door Hotel. The Hotel is actually connected to the Dartmouth House from an internal door, so the bride can go in without being seen by the guests.
The bride is a really elegant person and, of course, her wedding dress was a beautiful, elegant and refined dress, with an amazing and exquisitely fabric.
Then, she opted for a pair of elegant flat shoes.
When the bride was almost finished with the getting ready, after wearing the dress, the mother got a bit emotional, she hugged her before let her wear the veil.
Finally, the bride is ready and really happy!
and of course, there is time for some photos.
Not to mention when the father of the bride saw her dauther ready to get married.
As I mentioned before, from the Chesterfield Mayfair hotel and the Dartmouth House there is an internal door. Through this door, the bride can go to the ceremony room without see any guest and, of course, the groom. That door takes into this room, where the bride and the bridesmaids are just waiting for the call to enter the ceremony room.
Then, the bride got the call, it’s time to go!
There is so much about the bride entering the ceremony room, from the bridesmaids got emotional to the proudness of the father of the bride. But, above all, the best was the happiness of the bride.
However, that story was not over. The couple flew to Taiwan a few days after to keep going to the celebration, and I had the privilege to be their photographer for that event as well.
Here is the story
After the wedding in London, the couple moved to Taipei for a banquet at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel. This is the dining room at the Hotel.
That is to say, It has been an incredible experience, as I had to select and edit the best photos within 2 days, and send them to the couple via email, to let them print the photos and use them for the destination wedding. Basically, they printed the best one 2×1 meter and hanged on the wall of the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel, to help the guests find their dining room for the wedding banquet.
Even though the bride kept her wedding dress from the wedding in London at the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, she also had another wedding dress. So, on the left, you can see a typical Taiwanese wedding dress the bride chose for the banquet.
Once again, let’s meet the bride getting ready at the Sheraton Hotel.
Just between the Sheraton Hotel and the dining room, there are few private rooms where the bride got ready, helped by the hairdresser and some relatives.
Even though there are not so many black and white photos, here the bride checking herself in the mirror.
While the bride was getting ready, I also moved to the groom place, who was getting ready at the very same hotel. A photo of his suit.
Of course, he was had a bit more time to enjoy some breakfast, as the groom preparation is way quicker the bride getting ready.
Obviously, I took some photos around, keeping an eye on the wedding details, like the tie.
Finally, some more of the wedding photos I took at the wedding in London, at the Connaught Hotel and at St. Bartholomew’s Church. The bride and the goom printed the best, as I said before, and used as thank you cards as well.
Again, we are back to the groom room. The breakfast is done, time to get ready, and of course, there is some tension for this very important day.
At the same time, the bride preparation is almost done. We can admire here the wedding tiara she has chosen for the day.
Then again, the groom is almost ready as well, just the time for the last check and whish to himself the best of luck for this very important day.
After having tried the tiara, is time to final adjustment. As we said before, the bride will be wearing two different dresses for this event. Therefore, as a first wedding dress, she chose the one she had worn at the wedding in London.
Obviously, with the same beautiful wedding veil.
Finally, it is time to go. I took this photo from the preparation room, and really liked the way the bride is waiting in the corridor. I spoke about how much I do love symmetry, even in wedding photographs, in the previous blog post about the story of their wedding in London the week before.
Wedding photographer London Part 2 | The ceremony
As can be seen, the bride was really happy about the main bog photo outside the Sheraton Hotel dining room. She didn’t see that photo before, as she was busy in the changing room getting ready, meanwhile, the photo was hanged on the wall.
Besides the wedding dress, the bride kept also the same wedding shoes of the previous ceremony in London.
Here we go, the ceremony is going to begin and the guests are coming.
So, the photo I took at the wedding in London at the Connaught the week before, were used
First – for the main photo outside the dining room
Second – for the thank-you cards
Third – to be shown during the dinner in a few screens in the dining room.
Finally, after all this preparation, the bride and the groom enter the dining room where all the guests were waiting for them.
First, they said hello to the guests.
And then, they enjoyed the banquet meal.
Then, as said before, the bride changed her wedding dress with another one, a typical Taiwanese wedding dress.
And of course, the groom was waiting for the bride.
Here we are, the second entering the dining room with the new wedding dress.
Even though it was a quite formal ceremony, the kids found time and space to play as well.
Wedding photographer London | Part 3 The Sea
This is the last and most beautiful part of the wedding, having a walk with the bride and the groom by the sea outside Taipei.
Of course, it’s time for some black and white photo of the couple by this beautiful panorama.
And some in colour as well…
This beautiful day is going to the end.
Just the time to find a place to relax…
I hope you enjoyed this wedding story, who began in London, at the Connaught, and finished by the sea in Taipei.
Wedding photographer London – As a photographer, it has been a great experience and deep pleasure to take the photos of this fine art wedding in the heart of Mayfair, London. The getting ready and the wedding reception was at the Connaught Hotel and the ceremony at St. Bartholomew Church.
In addition, the couple had a second ceremony the week after in Taiwan, to celebrate their great step with the bride’s relatives as well. This has been incredible as I had to edit the few best photos the day after and send them over to the bride and groom, now actually the husband and wife.
Having sent the best photos by the next Monday, I gave the change to the bride and groom to print them and use for the celebration in Taiwan, as you will see in the next wedding blog.
Then, on the next Thursday, I flew to Taiwan to attend the ceremony in Taipei. It was a traditional Taiwanese wedding banquet, very formal and really interesting. I would say a unique experience.
But for now, let’s enjoy this London wedding story
Wedding photographer London Story – The getting ready
Fine art wedding photographer London. Let’s begin with this outstanding fine art wedding in London. Here the groom, early morning at the barber in Notting Hill.
After that, straight away at the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London. I just went to the bride room, where there were her sister and her niece as well. The room was messy, of course, a lot of things to do in so little time and with so much pressure and excitement.
Besides, the bride niece was so adorable, she played a lot on the big bed whereas her mum and auntie were getting ready.
I couldn’t help to take many photos of her.
Not to mention, the wedding dress. A fabulous soft and delicate piece of art.
Of course, the bride went for the top, she chose an outstanding pair of Jimmy Choo wedding shoes.
This is the bridesmaid dress, a blue pink pastel tone who matches very well with the tone of the flowers chosen by the bride.
Of course, the little one keeps playing on this joyful morning.
The wedding car has arrived. We spot it from the Connaught Hotel room.
Finally, let’s meet the bride. Herewith the hairdresser.
A moment of relaxing for the bride to be.
It’s finally time to wear the wedding-dress, helped by the sister.
and of course, the wedding earrings and…
last but not least, the wedding shoes.
Something was missing, the wedding veil.
Finally, the bride is ready.
Just outside the Connaught Hotel, we can admire the wedding veil in all its beauty.
Almost time to go, just outside the Connaught Hotel waiting for the wedding car.
And here we are, the bride entering the St. Bartholomew the Great Church in London.
The bride and the groom standing in front of the priest at the Majestic St. Bartholomew Church.
The emotions arise when finally they are Husband and wife.
St. Bartholomew’s Church has a mezzanine when I took this photo, showing the greatness of this place.
Symmetry is beautiful, also in a wedding photo. The Bride and the groom perfectly standing in front of the altar, with the priest perfectly balanced in the middle. The light was great as well, which helped very much to compose this image.
When the ceremony is over, it’s time for some photos fo the bride and the groom, but first, let’s have a look at this fantastic wedding bouquet.
Fine art wedding photographer London | Bride Portraits
Fine art wedding is definitely something special among all the wedding photography styles, where the pastel colours and bright lights are exalted at their maximum. The bride and her bouquet outside the St. Bartholomew’s Church.
A bridal portrait with her wedding bouquet outside the St. Bartholomew the Great Church.
However, I wanted to spend a few more photos over the wedding bouquet and the bride portrait.
Then again, here we moved from the church to a nearby park for some more wedding portrait. In this photo, I wanted to put the attention of the wedding bouquet and the texture of the wedding dress.
Moreover, a photo from the back, to admire the wedding veil and the bouquet altogether.
Once again, the bride and her wedding bouquet.
Let’s finish this short set of wedding photos with a great smile!
Let’s fix the wedding dress before leaving the park and come back to the Connaught Hotel for the wedding reception.
Back at The Connaught Hotel

At the same time, before meeting all the wedding guests for the wedding dinner, it’s time for a private drink in the Connaught Hotel Room.
Speaking about the wedding dinner at the Connaught, let’s have a sneak peek at the private dining room.
Not to mention, the wedding cake.
Almost at the end of this dreamy wedding day. The cake cutting.
Then, the first dance to begin the wedding night.
Dancing and romance for the bride and the groom at the Connaught Hotel.
After all, dancing is not only romance, but fun as well.
In conclusion of this unforgettable day, it’s time to say goodbye and leave this fantastic couple until the week later, when they will have their wedding banquet in Taiwan, for this great London and destination wedding at the same time.
As a wedding photographer, I have the luck to be part of some very special days, such as this incredible vintage, quirky and alternative wedding nearby London, at the St. barnabas Centre, where the leitmotiv was their love for the VW Campervan, and their french bulldog as well.
Wedding photographer London | The getting ready
Let’s start with this small selection of wedding congratulations cards.
The bride and the groom love two things above all the others, the French Bulldog and the vintage VW Campervan, and it will be pretty clear through the upcoming photos!
During the getting ready it’s paramount to take some good photos of the wedding dress before it is worn by the bride. The style of this wedding dress reflects very much the vintage and alternative style of the bride and the groom.
Speaking about vintage style, this old Italian Vespa model is fantastic.
Another photo of the wedding dress, a bit more clear where you can admire the texture and details.
The house garden and wedding dress.
VW Campervan is the leitmotiv of the couple’s house.
Not to mention, the wedding shoes.
Of course, we need a colour photo of the wedding shoes as well.
