Wedding photographer London – As a photographer, it has been a great experience and deep pleasure to take the photos of this fine art wedding in the heart of Mayfair, London. The getting ready and the wedding reception was at the Connaught Hotel and the ceremony at St. Bartholomew Church.
In addition, the couple had a second ceremony the week after in Taiwan, to celebrate their great step with the bride’s relatives as well. This has been incredible as I had to edit the few best photos the day after and send them over to the bride and groom, now actually the husband and wife.
Having sent the best photos by the next Monday, I gave the change to the bride and groom to print them and use for the celebration in Taiwan, as you will see in the next wedding blog.
Then, on the next Thursday, I flew to Taiwan to attend the ceremony in Taipei. It was a traditional Taiwanese wedding banquet, very formal and really interesting. I would say a unique experience.
But for now, let’s enjoy this London wedding story
Wedding photographer London Story – The getting ready
Fine art wedding photographer London. Let’s begin with this outstanding fine art wedding in London. Here the groom, early morning at the barber in Notting Hill.
After that, straight away at the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London. I just went to the bride room, where there were her sister and her niece as well. The room was messy, of course, a lot of things to do in so little time and with so much pressure and excitement.
Besides, the bride niece was so adorable, she played a lot on the big bed whereas her mum and auntie were getting ready.
I couldn’t help to take many photos of her.
Not to mention, the wedding dress. A fabulous soft and delicate piece of art.

Of course, the bride went for the top, she chose an outstanding pair of Jimmy Choo wedding shoes.
This is the bridesmaid dress, a blue pink pastel tone who matches very well with the tone of the flowers chosen by the bride.

Of course, the little one keeps playing on this joyful morning.

The wedding car has arrived. We spot it from the Connaught Hotel room.

Finally, let’s meet the bride. Herewith the hairdresser.

A moment of relaxing for the bride to be.

It’s finally time to wear the wedding-dress, helped by the sister.

and of course, the wedding earrings and…

last but not least, the wedding shoes.

Something was missing, the wedding veil.

Finally, the bride is ready.

Just outside the Connaught Hotel, we can admire the wedding veil in all its beauty.

Almost time to go, just outside the Connaught Hotel waiting for the wedding car.

And here we are, the bride entering the St. Bartholomew the Great Church in London.

The bride and the groom standing in front of the priest at the Majestic St. Bartholomew Church.

The emotions arise when finally they are Husband and wife.

St. Bartholomew’s Church has a mezzanine when I took this photo, showing the greatness of this place.

Symmetry is beautiful, also in a wedding photo. The Bride and the groom perfectly standing in front of the altar, with the priest perfectly balanced in the middle. The light was great as well, which helped very much to compose this image.

When the ceremony is over, it’s time for some photos fo the bride and the groom, but first, let’s have a look at this fantastic wedding bouquet.

Fine art wedding is definitely something special among all the wedding photography styles, where the pastel colours and bright lights are exalted at their maximum. The bride and her bouquet outside the St. Bartholomew’s Church.

A bridal portrait with her wedding bouquet outside the St. Bartholomew the Great Church.

However, I wanted to spend a few more photos over the wedding bouquet and the bride portrait.

Then again, here we moved from the church to a nearby park for some more wedding portrait. In this photo, I wanted to put the attention of the wedding bouquet and the texture of the wedding dress.

Moreover, a photo from the back, to admire the wedding veil and the bouquet altogether.

Once again, the bride and her wedding bouquet.

Let’s finish this short set of wedding photos with a great smile!

Let’s fix the wedding dress before leaving the park and come back to the Connaught Hotel for the wedding reception.
Back at The Connaught Hotel

At the same time, before meeting all the wedding guests for the wedding dinner, it’s time for a private drink in the Connaught Hotel Room.

Speaking about the wedding dinner at the Connaught, let’s have a sneak peek at the private dining room.

Not to mention, the wedding cake.

Almost at the end of this dreamy wedding day. The cake cutting.

Then, the first dance to begin the wedding night.

Dancing and romance for the bride and the groom at the Connaught Hotel.

After all, dancing is not only romance, but fun as well.

In conclusion of this unforgettable day, it’s time to say goodbye and leave this fantastic couple until the week later, when they will have their wedding banquet in Taiwan, for this great London and destination wedding at the same time.
