I am really pleased to be featured in Linenandsilk-wedding blog. Jessica and Andre wedding – check it out – was a small and intimate wedding in west London.
From the blog: “Sometimes it’s not the details, but the smiles, the intimacy and the love between a couple what truly captures a wedding blogger’s attention. This wedding by Italian wedding photographer Corrado Chiozzi (kindly gracing the pages of Linen and Silk Weddings again, thank you, Corrado!) is just one of those weddings… Jessica and Andre got married with an intimate ceremony in Wembley and asked Corrado to document this solemn day that they shared with the closest family and friends. It is simple, yet it is beautiful and more importantly, it is pure happiness.”

From the bride: this East London vintage wedding had a light 1920s theme with prohibition-style table favours and Gatsby-inspired decor.
I am American and the Groom is British so we wanted a wedding that blended the 20s theme with British touches. The ceremony was held in London, Stoke Newington, which had been through a massive refurbishment to restore many of the original art deco details. After the ceremony, guests rode in a vintage Routemaster bus to the reception which was hosted in a former Pub outfitted with quirky vintage furniture as it’s now used as a film and photo location. Once at the reception guests had a 3-course sit down dinner from a French-inspired menu delivered through EasyGourmet catering.
Tables favours like mini whiskey bottles and floral arrangements in vintage decanters tied the 1920s theme together. Finally the bride’s dress was an Art Deco-inspired sheeth that draped with casual elegance and complemented the vintage style hair and make-up.
