I am so excited to announce that I just got a wedding featured on Whimsical wonderland wedding, one of the top UK wedding blog:
“They wanted a 1920s glamorous feel to their day with a touch of British eclecticism. They held their ceremony at Stoke Newington Town Hall, followed by a reception at The Roost, which looked too cool.
Julie wore a 1920s feel Vionnet dress she found on Net-A-Porter while Ben wore a grey suit by Paul Smith. I so love all of the quirky and fun yellow details they injected throughout the day. Utterly gorgeous.”
From the bride: this East London vintage wedding had a light 1920s theme with prohibition-style table favours and Gatsby-inspired decor.
I am American and the Groom is British so we wanted a wedding that blended the 20s theme with British touches. The ceremony was held in London, Stoke Newington, which had been through a massive refurbishment to restore many of the original art deco details. After the ceremony, guests rode in a vintage Routemaster bus to the reception which was hosted in a former Pub outfitted with quirky vintage furniture as it’s now used as a film and photo location. Once at the reception guests had a 3-course sit down dinner from a French-inspired menu delivered through EasyGourmet catering.
Tables favours like mini whiskey bottles and floral arrangements in vintage decanters tied the 1920s theme together. Finally the bride’s dress was an Art Deco-inspired sheeth that draped with casual elegance and complemented the vintage style hair and make-up.

Many thanks to Julie and Ben for this beautiful vintage style wedding in London !!
