Wedding photographer London | Vintage Wedding story | 1950s
As a wedding photographer, I had the chance to take the photographs of this 1950’s Vintage inspired wedding in London.
Vintage Wedding Story
Vintage-inspired weddings are very popular nowadays, from the 1920s to 1960s you can appreciate a wide range of styles, dresses and wedding decors.
Besides the vintage theme, this wedding is really special for many other reasons.
First, the couple wanted a true vintage style wedding favours, therefore they started to collect vintage teacups in local vintage shops almost a year before the wedding. You will see in the photos, they are simply amazing!
Second, they chose a really cool wedding venue. It wasn’t a traditional wedding venue. They hired the Loft photo studio in London, with wooden tables and chairs, and that’s it, they got the magic!
Third, food. Instead of a traditional wedding catering, they hired a fish and chips mobile van, to be sure that “everyone was happy”, and, once again, they nailed it!
Fourth, the cakes! In a vintage wedding style, where everything was “real vintage”, there weren’t other options than delicious and beautiful handmade cakes! Some of the closest relatives of the bride and the groom backed the wedding cakes and cupcakes. I hope photos will give justice to that outstanding selection of cakes!
Last but not least, both the bride and the groom are dance teachers. They organised a flash mob right after the first dance with outstanding choreography.
Given these points, let’s begin.

The wedding ceremony was at the Orangery, in Holland Park. It has been a great choise as the weather was fantastic, giving a fabolous light for the wedding photos.

And finally, “I now pronounce you husband and wife”!
